What we collect
When you book a service, enquire about a part or send us a message, we collect your name, phone number, and email address if you give it — plus whatever you tell us about your machine. When you buy from us in store, our point-of-sale system records the sale against your customer record.
Why we collect it
To contact you about your booking or enquiry, to keep a service history against your machine so future repairs are faster, and to meet our warranty and tax record-keeping obligations.
Website analytics
We use Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tracking and Microsoft Clarity to understand how people use this site — which pages get read, where people stop scrolling, and which ads produce enquiries. This uses cookies. You can decline non-essential cookies and we honour that choice.
Our fonts are served from our own server rather than a third party, so loading a page here does not, by itself, tell anyone else that you visited it.
The one exception is the map on our contact page. It is embedded from Google Maps, so opening that page does tell Google you were there. It only loads if you scroll down to it, and every other page is free of it. If you would rather avoid that, our address is written out in full at the top of the same page and in the footer of every page.
Who we share it with
Nobody, except where we need to — Husqvarna for warranty claims on machines you bought from us, and the IT providers who host our systems. We do not sell your details.
Text message reminders
If you ask us to remind you when a service is due, we keep your number and the machine type for that purpose only. Every message includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and using it stops the messages immediately — no login, no confirmation step.
How long we keep it
Service and sale records are kept for ? years for warranty and tax purposes. Enquiries that do not become jobs are kept for 24 months.
