How to choose
Occasional firewood, pruning, storm cleanup
35–45cc with a 14–18 inch bar. Light enough to hold up, big enough for anything on a suburban block.
Regular firewood, larger property
50–60cc with an 18–20 inch bar. The workhorse range — most of Bunbury ends up here.
Professional, felling, all day
70cc and up with a 20–24 inch bar. The XP range, built for hours rather than minutes.
Quiet, no fuel, starts every time
Battery. Genuinely good now for pruning and light firewood — and no more stale fuel in the carburettor.
